Vision: The Montgomery County Public School Library Media Programs provide innovative, learner-centered services to nurture and challenge the academic and personal information needs of students and staff.

Circulation Policy

PreK & HS 1 book for 1 week in the classroom

Kindergarten Students: 1 book for 1 week

First Grade Students: 2 books for 1 week

Second Grade Students: 3 books for 1 week
Overdue Materials
Students and all users are responsible for the items they check out. Not fines are given for overdue books but users are expected to pay for lost books or those damaged beyond repair.

Most students visit the library media center weekly. PreK classes and the 3 year old HS class visit the library media center every other week. There is an open book exchange every day if students have permission and a pass they can come and get new books!
The media specialist also collaborates with classroom teachers during flexibly scheduled times.
